Famous Failures via Motivating Sucess

One of the most noted and contested paradoxes of leadership can be found in the success of failure. Leadership requires that we sometimes make decisions based on assumptions and limited or inaccurate information. As a result, we are at a risk of failure. Rather than allow the failure to defeat us, as leaders we must take the time to reflect upon the failure, identify lessons learned and use those lessons to inform our thinking regarding similar situations in the future. Through this process we find growth as individuals, innovation and ultimately success. Thus, there is success in failure and we should create a culture as leaders to embrace it. Enjoy!
